What We Sell
Small Business HR Kit sells digital, downloadable HR document templates designed for small service business owners. Products include, but are not limited to, employee handbook templates, hiring checklists, conduct and safety guides, and related HR documents (each a “Product”).
Not Legal Advice
Our Products are educational and informational tools. They are not legal, accounting, or professional advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship of any kind.

License to Use
When you purchase a Product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Download and customize the Product for use within your own business.
- Modify the content to fit your company’s specific policies and needs.
You May Not:
- Resell, redistribute, or share the Product, in original or modified form, with other businesses or individuals.
- Repackage or repurpose the Product for resale as your own template or product.
- Claim authorship of the underlying template design or structure.
Each Product license is for use by a single business. If you operate multiple, separate business entities and wish to use a Product across all of them, please Contact Us.
Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is processed securely through PayPal at the time of purchase. Access to download your Product is typically provided immediately after payment is confirmed.
Refund Policy
Because our Products are digital and delivered instantly upon purchase, we do not offer refunds once a Product has been Purchased.
If you experience a technical issue with your download or believe you were charged in error, contact us using our Contact Us Page, and we will work with you to resolve it.
Intellectual Property
All Products, including their content, structure, and design, are the intellectual property of Small Business HR Kit and are protected by copyright.
Your purchase grants you a license to use the Product as described above – it does not transfer ownership of the underlying content or design to you.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
We make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes from using our Products, including but not limited to prevention of employee disputes, regulatory compliance, or legal claims.
Your business’s specific circumstances, applicable state and local laws, and how you implement these documents will all affect the results.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Small Business HR Kit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, any Product, including but not limited to legal disputes, financial losses, or regulatory penalties.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
Continued use of our website or Products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
